Tyne Consort is a string quartet based in the North East of England, available for weddings, functions and any suitable events. Established in 2006, and originating as an early music ensemble, Tyne Consort now perform regularly in and around South Tyneside, Newcastle, Durham etc. The quartet has progressed to playing some of the most technically and musically demanding quartet works and has extensive experience performing at weddings and private functions.
