Louie Scott

Cello

Louie is a cellist, saxophonist and pianist based in the North-East. He holds a DipABRSM Distinction in Cello performance and ABRSM Grade 8 distinctions in both Piano and Saxophone.

Louie has had the privilege to work with musicians from the Royal Northern Sinfonia and outstanding teachers like Deborah Thorne and Nick Byrne. He has also had the opportunity to participate in masterclasses from world-leading cellists such as Natalie Clein and Louisa Tuck.

He has played with leading ensembles such as Young Sinfonia, as well as being a session cellist in recording studios and pit orchestras.

Aside from music, Louie studies Materials Chemistry at University of St Andrews, where he currently holds a music scholarship.
